I love watching TV with my kids, even if it means I have to turn off a boring grown-up show in favor of something on Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network, all in the name of peace.

The kids also seem to love it, but they’d like it better if I didn’t feel the need to sing along with the theme songs. I can’t help it. They’re just so darned catchy. “Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?” They stick in my head for days. “Absorbent and yellow and porous is he.” More...
